Ever felt insecure, inadequate, insufficient? Let’s deal with that now.
All are justified and made upright and in right standing with God, freely and gratuitously by His grace (His unmerited favor and mercy), through the redemption which is [provided] in Christ Jesus. ~ Romans 3:24 (AMP).
We see that though all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), we see that we are justified in God’s sight through Christ.
This implies that when God looks at us, He does not see us, He does not see the sin we have committed but He sees the Christ in us. The Christ part of our being Christian– that is what He sees.
So do not let the devil deceive you that you have sinned so much that the grace of God cannot save you. Do not let him lie to you that you are unworthy of God’s love and forgiveness since it is unmerited!!!
Get over that sin once you have repented since God promises that He will cleanse us from sin when we repent.
…He is faithful and just to forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. ~ (1 John 1:9).
He makes you righteous once you repent and He receives you as one of Himself. Yes, God does not associate with sin.
Remember that you are justified through and in Christ. Once you repent you are once again the righteousness of God. So do not let the devil overwhelm you with guilt you do not deserve.
