Answers. Yes, we get the answers, then what? It won’t help you that much if you put your candle under a bowl (Matthew 5:14-15). We are called to live out our lives exalted, not in pride, but in humility, love and character.
“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father. ~ Matthew 5:14-,16 NLT
By default, when you’re a Christian, all eyes are on you. Everyone is looking to you. Consciously or unconsciously, in one way or another, you’re already on a lampstand. The only way to avoid that is to keep quiet about your faith. And that’s where the danger is.
…Don’t you realize that friendship with the world makes you an enemy of God? I say it again: If you want to be a friend of the world, you make yourself an enemy of God. ~ James 4:4 NLT
The saying is true. The world is going to be hostile to you because of what (Who) is in you.
They will do all this to you because of Me, for they have rejected the one who sent Me. ~ John 15:21 NLT
Jesus said this so as to prepare His disciples and us of the hostility that we should expect. So we must always be vigilant. Do not be afraid to live out your faith. By day or by night. Temptations are sure to be there. But there’s something that’s greater for us who endure.
God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. Afterward they will receive the crown of life that God has promised to those who love him. ~ James 1:12 NLT
Let me leave you with these words. That you may find courage and peace to live your life as God intended you to live- free and unbound.
Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.] ~ John 14:27 AMP
Keep Shining, you’re the light.
Keep Trusting, He’s your Guide.
God bless you!
