Yellow Strings is a student founded company in Kimathi that mainly deals with Dry Cleaning and Entertainment. We are located at Bomas, near Kamah’s Bike Place.

We care for our customers, the students of Kimathi, and are involved in a couple of activities to help improve the lives of comrades, in collaboration with partners such as DekuTrends and the DeChat App. For example, we are very much in support of DeChat’s aim to make a virtual home for Kimathi comrades by providing a social media app designed specifically for KImathi. As such, we are the sponsors of the meme festival on DeChat, where a couple of comrades will walk away with sh. 500 each for the best memes, as voted by comrades. The festival runs from 22 to 29 Friday.

Yellow Strings Entertainment provides DJ services, lighting and audio equipment to events both in campus and around Nyeri. While dealing with comrades, we ensure to give huge discounts because we understand comrades’ pockets, seeing as our founder has been a student here for some time.
Yellow Strings Dry Cleaners provide laundry and dry cleaning services to comrades at the friendly price of just sh. 200 for a full bucket. You bring your dirty clothes to us and in a couple of hours, you collect them when they’re sparkling clean, dry and neatly ironed.

And don’t forget to go to DeChat and win that Sh 500!
